Under AmericanStar Transport’s eligible non-recourse quick-pay program,
your approved payment is secured once the load is properly delivered

AmericanStar handles customer payment collection and approved credit risk.

How do AmericanStar owner operators find freight?
AmericanStar’s dispatch team helps secure and coordinate available
freight, so owner operators do not have to spend their time searching
for every load independently. Dispatch support also helps with load
details, scheduling, communication, and route coordination.
What are the basic requirements to contract with AmericanStar?
Applicants generally need a valid CDL-A, qualifying driving
experience, an acceptable motor vehicle record, and equipment that
meets safety and insurance standards. Additional documentation may be
required depending on whether you operate under your own authority or
lease onto AmericanStar.
What paperwork will I need to contract with AmericanStar?
Required paperwork may include your CDL, medical certificate, Social
Security number or EIN, truck registration, title or lease
documentation, insurance information, inspection records, Form 2290,
and other compliance documents. Recruiting will provide a complete
checklist based on your equipment and operating structure.
Can AmericanStar help me understand EIN or Form 2290 requirements?
The AmericanStar team can explain which business and vehicle
documents are normally required during onboarding and help identify
missing paperwork. However, owner operators remain responsible for
obtaining and filing their own EIN, Form 2290, tax documents, and
other government registrations when applicable.
Does AmericanStar offer fuel discounts or fuel advances?
Yes. Qualifying owner operators can access fuel-card benefits with
discounts of up to
$0.80 per gallon at participating locations. Fuel
advances may also be available to support cash flow and help keep your
truck moving.
Does AmericanStar provide maintenance and roadside support?
AmericanStar provides access to mechanical assistance, maintenance
support, and service resources designed to reduce downtime. Available
discounts and services may vary by location, repair type, equipment,
and participating service provider.
